Bed Bug Dog
Traditional bedbug detection methods can be very time consuming and labour intensive. The use of bedbug dogs can generate a quicker and more accurate result. The dogs are used around the world to provide a quality bed bug inspection service. Our Bedbug dogs can detect bedbugs wherever they hide through the same sense of smell that allows other detection dogs to locate drugs or explosives by scent. It takes over 800 hours of intensive training for a dog to be fully trained. Currently pest control’s can only detect visible signs of bed bugs in a room with an accuracy rate of only about 30%. To find activity inside walls, under carpets, a room would have to be stripped down to the bare walls, our trained Bedbug dogs can detect bed bugs even inside walls under carpets and other area’s they just can’t be seen with the human eye – with 90% accuracy, making the dogs inspection a more thorough and accurate inspection.

How will they check my building ?
A professional handler will accompany the Bedbug dog as it does a room-to-room search of your premises. If the dog picks up a scent, it is trained to sit and the dog handler takes note of the spot and then the search continues.
If the dog identifies a Bedbug scent a treatment can then be carried out, by using the dogs it allows us to use less chemicals in your premises with better results.
